’98 grad named a finalist for Louisville CFO of the Year

Jim Lacy, a 1998 Brandeis School of Law graduate, was named a finalist in Louisville Business First’s CFO of the Year awards in the “very large private company” category. Lacy is CFO and General Counsel of ZirMed Inc.

The awards were announced last week. Lacy joined ZirMed in 2004 as CFO and General Counsel, leading product design and development initiatives. According to his bio on the company's website, during his time with ZirMed, the company has experienced rapid growth, was a multi-year recipient of Inc. magazine’s 500/5000 fastest growing companies and Healthcare Informatics magazine’s Top 100 Companies awards, and earned a Best in KLAS distinction in 2010 and 2011.

Prior to joining ZirMed, Lacy served as corporate counsel and as EVP of development for a vertically integrated post-acute care company.

Lacy, who holds a BS in economics from Centre College, also serves on the board of directors for Kosair Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Kentucky Derby Festival.
