Summer Fellowships
Each year, the Samuel L. Greenebaum Public Service Program provides paid fellowships for students to work during the summer for a legal aid agency throughout the state and the country. Some fellowships are designated for a specific agency; however, students can also apply for a summer fellowship at an agency of their choice anywhere in the country.
The following fellowships are offered each year:
IOLTA ("Interest On Trust Account") Fellowship allows students to work at the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. This fellowship is funded through the Kentucky Bar Foundation.
Samuel L. Greenebaum Public Service Program Fellowship allows students to work at the Louisville Metro Public Defender's Office. This fellowship is funded through the Samuel L. Greenebaum Endowment.
BARBRI Fellowship allows students to work at the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. This fellowship is funded through the silent auction of BARBRI Bar Review Course certificates.
Ellen Ewing Fellowship allows students to work at The Legal Aid Society of Louisville. This fellowship is funded through our annual battle of the bands, Lawlapalooza.
Greenebaum Public Service Fellowships provide summer grants to Brandeis Students working in unpaid public service jobs in the summer. These fellowships are funded through the Samuel L. Greenebaum Endowment.
Edwin H. Perry Mediation Fellowship provides free mediation training for students to mediate in the Family Law Mediation Project.
