Enterprise Systems

Taking care of the University’s core business software applications are one of our key responsibilities. In addition to providing system administration and development support, ITS ensures the security, maintenance and proper storage of all the data generated with these various systems.


At UofL, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS) is the system of record for most academic administrative functions. Students interact with this system via ULink to enroll in classes, update their personal information and manage important online tuition or financial aid accounts. If you are having issues with account access to CS, please contact the ITS HelpDesk.


For faculty and staff, our new Workday system is the university’s primary personnel administrative system. Accessible through ULink, online or a designated mobile app, employees manage their info easily and securely. All pre-2023 information is view-only in our PeopleSoftHCM system.


Administrative units, departments and offices utilize PeopleSoft Financials (FI) in the management of university business transactions such as general ledger, purchasing, accounts payable, employee reimbursement, budgeting and sponsored programs. For employees needing assistance with FI, please submit a service request.


We provide the development and back-end support for Plone, the university’s content management system. Management of server and network functionality for university websites are regulated by ITS. If you are a site administrator and are experiencing technical issues with the interface, please submit a service request. If you are needing general assistance with using Plone, we suggest reviewing the documentation for Web. For other questions regarding the web at UofL, please contact OCM.


As part of our Microsoft Office365 suite of applications, SharePoint is an online collaboration and file sharing productivity tool. Departmental site administrators can make changes and add/remove users. If you’d like a new site, submit a site request. For users with questions about a current SharePoint site, please fill out a service request. If you are having issues with your SharePoint site, please contact the ITS HelpDesk.


OnBase is an enterprise information platform for document management, image capture, and creating a workflow to support the storage of official business records. If you need a workflow or changes to a workflow, request a meeting with a team member. Specific individuals can request an OnBase access. Their request will be viewed by the Security and Account Management team and then forwarded to our OnBase group to create and approve access for your specific unit or department.
