If you have an emergency during off hours, call the HelpDesk to be transferred to an on-call technician, or leave your request on voicemail. Your call will be returned the next day starting at 7am unless you specify a time.

If you need assistance accessing your university accounts (ULink, for example), unlocking your password, accessing our wireless systems, computer repairs on University purchased equipment, or more, we can help.

The University of Louisville requires by policy (ISO-014 v2.0 and ISO-006 v2.0) that the operating systems and software used by University persons (faculty, staff and student members (including, but not limited to: faculty, staff, students, temps, trainees, volunteers, and other persons as deemed appropriate) for conducting/performing work, teaching, research or study activity using University resources be up-to-date and current.
Additionally, Duo, our two-factor authentication software, requires that all operating systems and web browsers be current in order to work with the UL2FCTR system.

UL2FCTR (Duo) required on UofL systems

Two-factor authentication (UL2FCTR) via Duo is now required on Blackboard and all ULink systems - Student and Faculty, WorkdayHR. Everyone must first enroll and confirm account preferences.

Bomgar is a screen sharing tool that allows our ITS HelpDesk technicians to remotely connect to your computer or system. If instructed, start a Bomgar session to allow this support solution to begin.

If you are unable to send emails from your university account, it is possible that functionality has been disabled for security reasons. Please check to see if you’ve received an email from us (helpdesk@louisville.edu) stating that your account was compromised. The procedures for reinstatement are available in our Knowledge Base or contact us through the options above.
