If you already have a Personal Account with Adobe for the Creative Cloud, signing up for this one will start a separate UofL (Company or School) Account.
If you are paying on or have paid for another license, you can decide whether or not to continue with your Personal Account. However, once you stop payment on a Personal Account, your data/files connected to that account will not be accessible. It is highly recommended that anyone with a personal account and with files stored on the Adobe Cloud back-up all of their files on a local drive (or a cloud location like CardBox or OneDrive) before switching their accounts. This includes any Behance or Portfolio sites and Spark pages.
Adobe does not provide refunds for overlapping service or discontinued accounts.
Adobe has a terrific Learn & Support resource for Creative Cloud that can answer most questions for our users. Additionally, there are Support Communities which provide help and information about all things software or topic/content related.
If you have technical issues that are related to your UofL userID and password or that our ITS HelpDesk can assist, please contact us. If you think additional support is required by the administrator of our UofL license, please send us an email explaining your issue.
Additionally, everyone has access to Adobe's Education Exchange. This free learning platform and community was designed by educators for educators, to ignite creativity in the classroom at all levels.
Planning ahead for graduation or leaving is required. Your Adobe account is directly connected to your status at UofL so all data/files connected to your UofL account will not be accessible once you are no longer a student or employee.
It is highly recommended that you back-up all of the data/files/fonts/pages stored on your Adobe Cloud on a local drive (or a cloud location) prior to leaving. This includes any Behance or Portfolio sites and Spark pages.
Another option would be to follow Adobe's directions for migrating your assets (files, data, etc.) to an Adobe Creative Cloud Personal Account. This action requires you to set up and pay for an account separately.
