Our Mission
The mission of the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center Office of Professional and Educational Development (OPED) is to provide high quality education that fosters lifelong learning for healthcare providers and interprofessional teams. Grounded in evidence-based practices, OPED collaborates with healthcare teams, system stakeholders, and the broader community to identify and address professional practice gaps. By fostering interdisciplinary learning and leveraging innovative educational strategies, OPED aims to elevate professional competencies, enhance safety and quality in patient care, and promote effective collaboration across healthcare disciplines.
