Housing Application and LLC/TC Application Launch

First-Year Students: First-year students may submit the GDPR/FERPA consent form, create a housing profile, complete the application and fee, and create a roommate group.

Returning Residents: Students currently living on campus who wish to live on campus again next year. Students will also have an option to request they retain the bedspace in which they are currently assigned.

First-year and returning students may apply to join an LLC or TC for the upcoming academic year. If a student is accepted into an LLC or TC, this student will be able to log back into the Housing Portal in order to select an LLC or TC space during the appropriate room selection period.

Priority Deadline for Room Retention for Returning Residents

Approved residents who would like to retain their current room assignments must select the Retention Request option and have a completed application by the Priority Deadline. Retention requests after this time will not be considered.

Approved residents who have successfully retained their current spaces will need to participate in room selection.

Room retention requests are not guaranteed approval, as these are based on room availability. You will receive an email by the end of the Room Retention period if your room is unavailable for retention.

Priority Deadline for Upperlevel Students

Non-First Year Freshmen students (for the Fall 23/Spring 24 Academic year) who would like to participate in Priority General Room Selection must complete the housing application by 1:00 p.m. Applications completed after the deadline will have to wait until non-priority room selection opens on March 17.

Room Retention Selection Period for Returning Residents Ends

Residents who would like to retain their current room assignments and are in an eligible unit will be able to log into the Housing Portal and assign themselves for the 2023-2024 term until 2:00 p.m. Students who do not assign themselves before the priority deadline will be added to Priority General Room Selection for picking a bedspace.

Non-First Year Freshmen students (for the Fall 23/Spring 24 Academic year) who completed the application by the priority deadline will be able to log into the Housing Portal and assign themselves for the 2023-2024 term. Students in eligible roommate groups will be able to pull their preferred roommates into their unit.

Room Change Period of All Approved LLC/TC Applicants Begins

For the 2023-2024 school year, all LLC/TC assignments will be done manually by the Housing Team. Students (for the Fall 23/Spring 24 Academic year) who completed the LLC/TC application and have been approved by the LLC/TC advisor will be able to log into the Housing Portal on this date and perform a room change within their LLC/TC.

If an approved, upper-level LLC/TC applicant denies their LLC/TC after assignment, they will be moved into an open space in one of our halls and will then be allowed to perform a room change beginning March 20, 2023.

If an approved, first-year LLC/TC applicant denies their LLC/TC after assignment, they will be moved into an open space in one of our halls and will then be allowed to perform a room change beginning May 17, 2023.

Room Change Period for Upper-Level Assigned Students Begins

Upper-level students who have previously selected a room, but now are interested in select a different bedspace for the 2023-2024 term, will be able to log into the Housing Portal and go through the Room Change process to see what spaces are available and re-assign themselves. Roommate groups are not able to be pulled into room changes.

Priority Deadline for First Year Freshmen Submitting the Housing Application

First Year Freshmen students (for the Fall 23/Spring 24 Academic year) who would like to participate in Priority General Room Selection must complete the housing application by 11:59 p.m. Applications completed after the deadline will have to wait until non-priority room selection opens on May 15.

Deadline for Living Learning and Themed Communities Application

Students who would like to participate in a Living Learning or Themed Community must complete the LLC/TC application by 9:00 a.m. This application will close after the deadline.

All students (for the Fall 23/Spring 24 Academic year) who completed the application will be able to log into the Housing Portal and assign themselves for the 2023-2024 term until 3:00 p.m. Students who do not assign themselves before the deadline will be manually assigned a bedspace based on availability as it becomes available.
