Do you love books? Are you looking for people who share that passion and want to discuss literature?

Join the Honors LLC Book Club!

It’s a great opportunity to meet people with common interests, make new friends, and discover new books!

The first book of the semester will be pre-selected. From then on, students will have to chance to submit their suggestions and vote on the next book we read. Our goal is to meet monthly in order to give students enough time to read the next book in-between studying for classes.

Meeting Details:

Meeting time: Tuesday, November 16th at 5:30 p.m.
Meeting location: Kurz Hall 1st Floor Conference Room

Book of the Month:

The Power by Naomi Alderman

Set in a world that is recognizable, except something vital has changed - teenage girls now have immense physical power - they can cause agonizing pain and even death. With this small twist of nature, the world changes utterly. The Power is a harrowing novel about how the world would change if power were – literally - in the hands of women and exposes what we as society and as humans do with power, and the ways in which power corrupts.
