Bio

Chelcia is a double alumni from the University of Louisville where she completed her undergraduate studies as well as obtaining a M. Ed in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in Art Therapy in 2015.

Her love and appreciation for Art Therapy began in 2006 when she developed and directed a multi-faceted art program in a residential setting for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Chelcia began her Art Therapy career in a community mental health setting, during which time, she established and has maintained a small private practice since 2018. She enjoys the diversity of working with individuals of all ages and assisting recent graduates obtain their licensure.

Her personal hobbies include gardening, mixed media art and construction, reading, baking bread and spending time with her loved ones.
