Bio

Dr. Melissa C Henry is an Assistant Professor and core faculty in the Counselor Education Program in the Department of Counseling and Human Development at the University of Louisville. She is also a licensed counselor with experience in couples and family therapy, PTSD/trauma counseling, and community mental health treatment. Her research interest includes PTSD/Trauma, Substance Use Disorders (SUD), and intersectionality. Dr. Henry is a researcher, educator, and social justice advocate.
