Research Interests
Most of my research has a cultural component, at both the national and international levels. My current work focuses on forgiveness, particularly as it relates to culture. I also engage in research on how religion and spirituality influence attitudes and behavior. I’ve recently begun examining how biases influence ethical decision-making. International ethics has always been an interest of mine, meaning I look for common and unique psychological ethical standards across countries to determine what psychology values internationally, and what values are culturally distinct. Finally, I have written on internationalizing the psychology curriculum and other areas related to professional issues.
