Praxis II

The Praxis Series™ assessments provide educational tests and other services that states use as part of their teacher licensure and certification process. The Praxis II® tests measure subject-specific knowledge. Each state sets passing scores for PRAXIS II examinations. Note: All applicants must register for the appropriate, subject-specific PRAXIS II examination(s) and submit official, passing scores by the application deadline. Applicants are not required to take the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) exam for admission, but will be asked to take this exam towards the end of their program. Praxis scores can be accepted by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) for up to 5 years from the test date.
