ATTENTION: New Proposal Clearance Form (PCF)
Effective immediately, use the new PCF form dated 7/1/17. Field of Science categories have been revised and reorganized as defined by the National Science Foundation (NSF) on the new PCF and iRIS Proposal. As of July 17, 2017, only the latest versions of the PCF should be used for new project submissions to the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (OSPA), Office of Industry Engagement (OIE) and Clinical Contracts Division (CCD). Funding opportunity: UofL-NSF I-Corps Site Aug. 4 deadline
Do customers need your innovation? Let the UofL-NSF I-Corps Site program help with the discovery and commercialization of STEM innovations. Inventors and researchers partner with entrepreneurial mentors to develop a strategy to get innovative products to market. Awards are up to $2,500 per team. The program is open to all UofL faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Applications are due by August 4. Graduate Research Fellowship Program
The Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is seeking panelists for the 2018 review process. Monday Memo submissions
Effective August 1, all Monday Memo submissions need to be submitted via the form in order to be included. http://uofl.me/as-mmform. Only those submissions submitted through the form will be published in the MM.

Shumaker Building reservations
Effective June 27th, all reservations for rooms in the Shumaker Research Building should be made via 25Live. Please contact Holly Hogue if you need more information.

Prof. Hammond named ACS Fellow

The American Chemical Society (ACS) has named Gerald B. "GB" Hammond to the 2017 class of ACS Fellows, which includes scientists who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in chemistry and have made important contributions to ACS, the world’s largest scientific society. The official list of names appears in the June 19 issue of Chemical & Engineering News.
