#RaiseSomeL begins tomorrow!

Beginning at 6:02 p.m. on October 20, for 1,798 minutes, Cardinals everywhere will come together to celebrate who we are and Raise Some L. This is a Cardinal call to action to all students, alumni, faculty, staff, and fans to do two simple things:

  • Make a gift
  • Spread the word - #RaiseSomeL

It’s that simple.

This year, the College is highlighting some of our social justice-focused programs:

  • African American Theatre Program
  • Anne Braden Institute for Social Justice Research
  • CONECT Peer Mentoring Program
  • Department of Pan African Studies
  • Malcolm X Debate Program
  • Martin Luther King Scholars Fund
  • Social Change Minor Degree Program

Additionally, we know that an excellent education in the liberal arts and sciences is the best preparation for life and work in a world of increasing diversity and ever-accelerating change, so we encourage gifts to any and all of our amazing departments and programs via the A&S giving link. Please share widely via social media and email and remember to tag any posts with #RaiseSomeL.

Remote work recommended 11/25 - 12/18

The Dean’s Office recommended that staff work 100% remotely during the period of November 25 through December 18 to all supervisors. If your supervisor has determined that you can work remotely during this time or your current schedule allows you to work remotely, please remember that non-exempt staff must complete the Excel or PDF track hours template and send to your supervisor and CC the A&S HR Service Account. If you are working on campus, you do not need to complete the track hours template.
