The Committee considered a request from the College of Business to waive the 4-hour enrollment restriction in the first summer term in order to permit A&S students to enroll in MGMT 415: Strictly Business (6 hours). The waiver was approved, to apply only to students enrolling in MGMT 415. The committee did not approve a request that the course be applied toward requirements for social science courses in College degree plans.
It may be used in the free elective category.
A proposal from the Department of English to remove ENGL 310 as a requirement for admission to the major was approved. (The course remains a degree requirement in the major.)
Discussion of the accelerated Biology BA/MAT was deferred until a departmental representative could be present.
