How to Apply
Step 1: Apply to UofL. For students applying to UofL for Summer/Fall 2024, you must apply to UofL before applying to the Honors Program.
Step 2: Apply for the Honors Program. Once you have applied to the University of Louisville, students who are eligible to apply for the Honors Program will see that option in their New Cards Gateway. Log in to your New Cards Gateway and look for the "University Honors Program" under your Competitive checklist section. Click on the link to be taken to the form to view complete application instructions. Please note: the Honors Program link will only appear on your Gateway if you meet the minimum GPA requirements to apply. For more information on specific program requirements, please email honors@louisville.edu.

Honors Early Action
UofL's Honors Early Action application process allows Honors-accepted students to receive their University Honors Program decision earlier than ever. Honors Early Action is non-binding – students receive an early response to their application but do not have to commit to UofL until the decision deadline of May 1.
To be considered for Honors Early Action, you must submit your Honors application and materials by October 15th.
If you apply to Honors by the Honors Early Action deadline, you will receive your decision by November 30th.
