The Networking, Engagement, Support & Transitions (NEST) Mentorship Program seeks to foster productive relationships between students and alumni to engage in mentorship that focuses on academic and professional development. This program, a collaboration between the Office of Access and Opportunity, Center for Belonging, Access & Engagement (BAE), and the Office of Alumni Relations, places students on a path to success while also strengthening alumni connections with the University of Louisville. There will be efforts to match students with mentors that have overlapping major and career interests.

This program utilizes a “pod” structure that allows alumni and students to build lasting connections. The group format of the mentorship program allows each member to learn from each other’s unique life experiences at different stages of their career path/major while gaining guidance, career insights, and network building throughout the academic year.

This program is open to all eligible students & alumni without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
