Threlkeld Hall

Threlkeld Hall is a co-ed facility that offers two living-learning communities (LLC) for first-year honors and many scholarship students. First-Year students meeting eligibilty requirements may apply to live in the Honors Science LLC, or the Honors Service LLC.  These dynamic communities are geared to promote a high quality academic experience (particularly in the first semester) and persistence to the sophomore year.  They also foster resident interaction to assist in transitioning to college life.

Threlkeld houses approximately 250 first-year honors students in two separate wings.  Men reside in the South Wing while females live in the North Wing.    Threlkeld offers double occupancy rooms with a community bath on each wing of a floor, free laundry facilities on the lower level, and community kitchens.  Residents of Threlkeld Hall enjoy its central campus location with easy access to Ekstrom Library, academic buildings, and the Swain Student Activities Center (SAC).

Threlkeld Hall offers a wide range of social, academic, and engagement activities that assist residents in making friends and transitioning to college life.  Threlkeld also provides 24-hour on-call coverage by Housing and Residence Life (HRL) employees.
