George Pullman describes the process of creating an online
archive
of the Journal of Advanced Composition. (Follow
this link to read the article.) A similar process is being used to
make The Writing Center Journal available here.

Statement of Purpose
The Writing Center Journal Online Archives are part of the
Writing
Centers Research Project's efforts to build an international repository
for writing center research and scholarship. Because the WCRP does not
wish to compete with The Writing Center Journal's print
subscriptions,
only issues of WCJ that have been in print for two years or
more
will be made available here. The WCRP encourages all writing center
professionals
to support IWCA and WCJ by subscribing to the journal.
Technical Notes
For each issue in the archives, individual articles are available in
Adobe PDF format. However, some of these files are rather
large
(approx. 10+ megs each), so please be patient as you download
them.
If you have trouble
downloading files, you might first try a different browser; if
that fails, you can try to bypass the webpage itself by deleting some
of the address and going straight to the directory.
For instance, you can get to the directory of issue 15.1 by changing
