Sponsored Projects (SP)

Cayuse is a cloud-based electronic research administration system designed to support the full research project lifecycle. The Sponsored Projects (SP) application is for the internal administration of grant and contract proposals, awards, and subawards. SP will be linked with other Cayuse applications, for example Proposals (S2S), to create a streamlined user experience.

Cayuse SP replaces the legacy systems and forms that have been used to route, document, and administer grants and contracts at UofL. This application will streamline processes and act as a central hub for researchers and research administrators to access the entire research lifecycle.

Benefits of Cayuse SP include:

  • Centralized dashboards and project tracking
  • Streamlined electronic routing
  • Simplified approval process
  • Improved compliance
  • Quick access and transparency to your sponsored projects portfolio
