Working with our students offers your team an infusion of energy and fresh perspective. You'll also have the chance to test-drive the next generation of thinkers, leaders and doers across a range of disciplines, potentially finding a great future addition to your workforce.

Our students often take on work with industry in addition to their school work. The goal, for them, is to gain valuable hands-on experience that will help them in their future careers. There are a few types of internships:

To work with our students, please get in touch with the UofL Career Development Center, which can help you post and recruit for student jobs.

Our students also often work on projects for companies. These are usually low or no-cost to industry, with the exception being purchase of necessary materials for prototyping. These projects cover a range of disciplines, but some examples include:

  • Engineering students helping your company prototype or solve problems;
  • MBA consulting student helping your company develop business plans or identify opportunities;
  • Computer information systems students helping your company launch new software or improve your website.

These projects are typically class-based, and completed within a set semester or semesters. To find the right class for your project, please contact our staff.
