Cayuse is a cloud-based, electronic research administration system designed to support the full research project lifecycle. The Proposals (S2S) application is UofL’s institutional system-to-system solution for the submission of federal grant applications to Grants.gov. Using Proposals (S2S) you can:
Join the UofL Cayuse team on MS Teams – Ask questions using the Proposals (S2S) channel chat function.
Proposals (S2S) handles grant applications to federal agencies. The Cayuse system connects directly with Grants.gov and submits to the federal agencies that use Grants.gov. (Proposals (S2S) does not handle applications to private nonprofit or industry entities.)
No, Cayuse Proposals (S2S) provides a turnkey environment for the development, institutional review and approval, and submission of proposals to Grants.gov. It can even incorporate subawards to or from other Cayuse customers into the primary submission to Grants.gov.
Departmental use of Proposals (S2S) is optional, and researchers may continue to apply for federal award opportunities through Grants.gov Workspace, NIH ASSIST, and other federal portals.
Please complete the subrecipient entity request form here. The Research Systems team will add the new subrecipient to Cayuse S2S.
