2024 Ohio Valley Spine Symposium

The 2024 Ohio Valley Spine Symposium brings together health professionals from the University of Louisville, the University of Kentucky, the University of Cincinnati, and others to learn about updates and best practices in Spinal Oncology. Attendees will spend the day hearing from speakers in both presentation and case study formats to learn about updated techniques for spinal oncology. Spine surgery is evolving into the age of robotic and minimally invasive spine surgery. There is an increasing array of new techniques, approaches, instruments, and knowledge to manage and treat spinal tumors. U of L Health Sports Medicine Symposium: Comprehensive Medical Management of the High Level Athlete

This in-person course introduces learners to the multi-disciplinary approach to the sports medicine management of the high-level athlete. It will provide an overview of the continuum of care/practice pathway utilized by the University of Louisville Sports Medicine Team. This course will walk the learner through management of the athlete beginning with pre-injury preparation/prevention, progressing to on the field/court injury management, the medical management, mental health management, rehabilitation, sports performance and return to sport.
