Dr. David Levin graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) Auburn in May of 2021 after graduating cum laude from the University of Florida (UF) in 2014 with a degree in applied physiology and kinesiology. In undergrad, Dr. Levin competed for the University of Florida’s Track and Field team in the Hammer throw event and earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors. Prior to medical school Dr. Levin worked as a clinical research coordinator at UF’s Institute on Aging, contributing to several research studies involving exercise and pharmaceutical interventions to improve physical function. As a medical student Dr. Levin served on the executive board as president of VCOM-Auburn’s Sports Medicine chapter and had an abstract in cancer-related pain treatment accepted to the NANS national conference. Dr. Levin completed a transitional year internship at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida prior to joining University of Louisville as a physical medicine and rehabilitation resident.

Dr. Levin is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Academy of Physiatrists, North American Spine Society, American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, and American Society of Regional Anesthesia. Dr. Levin’s clinical interests include interventional pain, sports medicine, neuromodulation, cancer rehabilitation, ultrasound-guided procedures, and spasticity management. Dr. Levin enjoys traveling, listening to live-music, playing golf, and spending time with family.
