Andrew Woods, DO


Dr. Andrew (Drew) Woods most recently completed his transitional year internship at the University of Kentucky - Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022. Before that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, in 2013, where he played ice hockey for the Scarlet Knights and participated in Model United Nations through the Institute for Domestic and International Affairs. During medical school, Dr. Woods served as the Student Council President for the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOCPMR), served as the chair of the school "Walk with a Doc" Community Wellness Program, and was a member of the Gold Humanism Honors Society (GHHS).

In addition to his work in the hospital, Dr. Woods has served in the United States Army Reserves since 2015, earning an Army Achievement Medal and the Golden Scalpel Award for graduating at the top of his class in Advanced Individual Training. When he is off work, you will find him at the gym, in the backyard grilling and playing with his four dogs, out on the bourbon trail hunting for new bottles, or exploring Louisville with his wife and two kids. His interests include interventional spine and pain management, spinal cord injury, and general physiatry.
