Research Interests

My broad background with degrees in social work, work experience in oncology and palliative care, and clinical and educational research allow me to contribute an interprofessional approach toward assessing and intervening to improve the health care of all those affected by cancer and other serious illnesses. I am driven to improve quality of life in serious illness by cultivating research and training for interprofessional clinicians in quality care. My research interests include psycho-social care of cancer survivors and their families, gerontology, health disparities, caregiver issues, palliative care, survivorship, and inter-professional education.
