Current Positions:
Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine
Medical Director, J. Graham Brown Cancer Center Supportive Care Clinic
Clinical Focus and Research:
My clinical focus is to improve the quality of life of people with cancer by providing palliative care through the Supportive Care Clinic. I work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care for people and their families, whether newly diagnosed and receiving curative treatment or with advanced disease with a focus on comfort. We address physical symptoms such as pain, emotional distress, psychological care, social needs, and spiritual concerns. We help people to formulate their individual goals of care and work with oncologists to make sure their cancer treatment is consistent with these goals.
