International Service Learning Program

Law students can often participate in ISLP.

Brandeis School of Law students can take part in selected programs through the University’s International Service Learning Program.

Law faculty teach courses during some sessions of ISLP, for which Brandeis students will receive law school credit. Interested students must register for the associated law school course AND apply for the ISLP program through their website.

ISLP involves 7 to 14 days of travel to a foreign country, where students perform a service project in a local high school.

Destinations

The law school regularly participates in trips to:

  • Belize
  • Ghana

Costs & Funding

There is an additional program fee for ISLP, which varies depending on the destination, and covers all travel expenses.

Limited scholarships are available through the ISLP program to help cover some of the program fee for selected students.

Students participating in ISLP in Ghana may also apply for the UofL Roberson Fund.
