We recognize that navigating options for technology purchases at UofL can be challenging. Whether you’re a department, employee or student, and might be looking for hardware or software, let us provide some starting points. If you’re part of our service level agreement (SLA) for desktop and device support, please contact our team about purchasing options. If you’re a department or unit, and are looking at an extensive technology change, hardware or software acquisition, or looking to update a classroom, we can consult on any decisions.
Please be aware of University policies on purchasing and the inventory, tracking and discarding of computing devices. Our Desktop Support team follows the current ITS recommendations on university workstations.
PURCHASING
The Department of Procurement Services helps offices, departments and units with university purchases, including computer hardware and software.
ITECH XPRESS
Our online university store. Sign-in to look for discounted software and links to technology partners for personal computers.
BOOKSTORE
Go to the UofL Campus Store for options on all of your technology needs. Their online store offers a range of discounted computers and accessories.
COMPUTERS
UofL has negotiated with several computer vendors for discounts to units and departments. Personal purchases can be made online directly through vendor websites.
