Cardinals Rising Program
Cardinals Rising, a transformative college readiness initiative, will start enrolling students in grades 8-12 beginning Fall 2024. This exceptional program aims to close the educational gap by nurturing a college-going culture among underserved, low-income, and first-generation students. It involves a strong partnership with various University of Louisville academic departments and local middle and high schools, making Cardinals Rising more than just a program—it's a step towards educational equity.
The program targets serving 200 students in grades 8-12 and offers scholarships to those who meet its requirements, providing a direct route to higher education. Additionally, it supports the families of participating students by providing parents and guardians with the resources and knowledge needed to support their child’s educational pursuits.
