Programs & Workshops
Based on Discovery Channel's hit TV show, "Mythbusters," this interactive program challenges students to test their knowledge of the flu by discussing common flu misconceptions and dispelling myths about the influenza vaccine. Students will also learn about why college environments put them at risk for the flu, how to recognize flu symptoms, and what they can do to stay healthy during cold and flu season. Freebies included with the program: a cold & flu kit, pocket-sized bottle of hand sanitizer, and possibly other HPO items (water bottles, drawstring backpacks, ID holders, and more).
