Health Advocate Leaders (HALs)
Health Promotion located in Wellbeing Central in SACW309, is looking for students interested in resilience and wellbeing to apply for PAID positions as Health Advocate Leaders (HAL). HALs will gain experience with program planning and evaluation, leadership, effective communication, presentation skills, and specific content knowledge while seeing first-hand what it is like to work in a professional, purpose-focused environment. Positions are typically 5-10 hours per week and start at the beginning of the school year (August) and continue through the end of the school year (April). Students are welcome to re-apply for positions year after year.
*If you choose Food, Nutrition & Cooking as an area of interest, you must be available from 10:30-1pm, Monday through Thursday at least 2-3 times per week, in addition to other hours and evening availability.
