The program features:
A 21-hour undergraduate minor in Latin American and Latino Studies
A 15-hour Graduate Certificate in Latin American and Latino Studies
A variety of 100-600 level courses with Latin American content taught by faculty from a number of different departments, including: Anthropology, Art History, History, Humanities, Linguistics, Modern Languages, Pan-African Studies, Political Science, Portuguese, Spanish, and Women’s and Gender Studies, among others.
Opportunities to participate in study abroad programs, particularly in the Annual U of L Study Abroad Program in Panama, sponsored by the LALS Program, the Department of Communication, and the College of Arts and Sciences.
