Responsibility Timeline
The Peer Advising program is a year-round position (summer, fall, and spring semesters). Hours vary based on time of year, but at minimum, the position requires 3 hours per week.
January - February
- New Staff Applications available – January 19, 2024 through February 14, 2024 at midnight.
- Current Peer Advisors assist with recruitment and continue mentoring their students.
- Interviews for 2024-2025 staff – February 21-29
March
- 2024-2025 Peer Advisor staff selected
- Current staff assist with advising and mentoring initiatives.
April
- Current staff assist with advising and mentoring initiatives.
- Welcome Event for new and returning staff – TBD
May - July
- Peer Advisor Summer Training- May 20-24
- NEW CARDS ORIENTATION:
