Welcome Weekend at UofL for ULtra students!

Welcome Weekend consists of many campus activities that occur the weekend before the Fall semester begins.  Ultra students are encouraged to events listed below, please be prepared to show your JCTC student ID.

Fall 2009 schedule

Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee (and there's magic too!)

• Thursday, 8/20 from 7-10pm (Muhammad Ali Center).  Enjoy talents of local musicians and then the bizarre magic of Brian Brushwood and a scavenger hunt through the center.  **Bring ID for free transportation from the UofL College of Business Circle 

Drive-in Movie

•  Friday, 8/21 at 9:30pm on the West Lawn. Twilight.  (Rain Site: Student Activities Center

American Pie:  Exploring Campus Community

• Saturday, 8/22 from 12-2pm in the SAC Multi-Purpose Room.  A Student favorite every year, this interactive event introduces you to the diverse community at UofL and teaches you how to get the most out of it!

Annual Ticket Swap and Spirit Fest

• Saturday, 8/22 at 7pm at Trager Stadium on Floyd Street.  Meet coaches and players and take part in games to win prizes.  The Cards Under the Stars party begins at 9pm in the quad by the Humanities building and Ekstrom Library.

Discovery Walk

• Sunday, 8/23 with check-in at the Red Barn from 11-2pm.  Peer Health Advocates created the 1.5 mile Cardinal Trail to help you get more acquainted with campus.  Includes freebies along the way and lunch, a food prep demo, yoga, and massages at the end of the trail!
