About Us

Welcome from the Director

Many (many, many) years ago I was a transfer student at the University of Louisville. I loved my new university, the professors, the excitement of a Division I school and the campus life. I hated not knowing where to park, which professors to take, where to get the best campus food and the “run-around” I got as I tried to enroll.

The job of ULtra is to help make your transition to UofL a little easier. We can help you before you transfer by advising you on classes that will count and introducing you to the transfer resources available to you at UofL. We’ll assist you through the transfer process and our office on the UofL campus is a place for you to ask questions, get information and meet your peers after you have started classes at your new academic home.

We have two on-line resources for transfer students – this website (http://louisville.edu/ultra )and the Virtual Transfer Center that is available to you as a guest visitor before you transfer (go to Blackboard at http://blackboard.louisville.edu/ and login as a guest) and after you transfer as a UofL student.

You can contact me or any of the ULtra staff from this website. Our only job is to make your transition a little easier and assist you in your goal of graduating from the University of Louisville.
