David Howarth

The associate provost for external academic affairs and faculty development oversees all faculty personnel issues and is liaison to the university's educational community partners, including Jefferson County Public Schools and Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC).

The associate provost also is liaison to Metropolitan College, a joint program among UofL, Jefferson Community and Technical College, and UPS that provides participants employment opportunities and a tuition-free education; and the University of Louisville Transfer Program (ULtra), which provides support and assistance for JCTC and Kentucky Community and Technical College System students who plan to transfer to UofL.
