Study Abroad - Chicoutimi, Canada
This is a 5-week summer intensive language study program at the l’Université de Québec à Chicoutimi. The program host, the Ecole de langue française et culture québécoise (ELFCQ), provides not only full immersion in the classroom, but coordinates housing and other activities to help students "truly live in French." The program is available to students at any level in French language study. Minimum GPA required is 2.5.
Courses Offered
Students will take a language placement test upon arrival at the ELFCQ. This test will determine the level of classes in which to enroll. Students will enroll for 6 hours of language and 1 hour of culture credit. The level of placement will determine the particular classes for which credit will be granted. Courses are typically grammar and conversation based.
