An invitation from the provost
Students, faculty and staff are invited to meet with Budget Advisory Committee representatives to develop ideas to save and generate funds.
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff:
You have all heard the budget news and know that we are going to have to explore every possible avenue to save money and generate revenue while doing everything we can to move forward with our strategic plans. There are groups already working on ideas in that vein and you were given the opportunity to share any ideas via e-mail in a note from the President earlier this month. A number of ideas have been received thus far via e-mail and we would now like to give you the opportunity to meet with representatives of the Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) in hopes that even more ideas to save and generate funds will be forthcoming.
The sessions with the BAC are scheduled for the various constituencies as shown below. All will be held at 12:00 noon, with the exception of the March 2 student session. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Our only request is that you inform us of your plans to attend so that we can be sure we have enough space and food for all the participants. If interested, please make a reservation to attend one of the sessions by e-mail.
