Goals for MAEP
MAEP will work to build a campus community that fosters academic excellence, diversity, equity, and cultural pluralism.
MAEP will assume a leadership role, consistent with its resources, in efforts to increase the matriculation, retention and graduation rates of African American and minority students. Along with this leadership role,
MAEP will work collaboratively with academic and support units that promote the matriculation, retention, and graduation of African American and minority students.
MAEP will maintain existing and establish new links with the community that support African American and minority culture, arts and education.
