Earn a Certificate in Program Management
The Program Management Professional (PgMP) is the latest of PMI's growing suite of credentials. It is designed for professionals responsible for the coordinated management of multiple, related projects that advance organizational objectives and strategic goals.
The role of a program manager encompasses:
- Defining and initiating projects
- Assigning and directing project managers
- Overseeing programs and working to ensure their success
Making recommendations to modify programs to better - achieve strategic objectives
- Keeping strategic goals at the forefront of all project activities
- Prioritizing and integrating competing initiatives
Program Management Essentials
PMI’s Standard for Program Management is the primary source for the certification’s exam content and the foundation of the Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning’s newest course, Program Management Essentials.
After completing this 24-hour course, you will have mastered the three basic tenets of program management: benefit management, stakeholder management, and program governance.
You’ll leave with 24 PDUs and a Certificate in Program Management from the University of Louisville.
