The “Start Smart” Course

This acclaimed course will help human resource professionals successfully prepare to sit for the SPHR or PHR exam. It offers time-tested techniques for effectively understanding and successfully answering the exams’ difficult questions. The course reviews, in detail, the six key areas of the Human Resource Certification Institute’s (HRCI) body of knowledge. You’ll also learn special preparation techniques
that will make you more effective on exam day.

Included in the fee are comprehensive study materials including the HRReview WORKBOOK, which contains preparation outlines, appendices, terminology, over 900 “exam quality” preparation questions, and a CD of electronic flashcards. You will also receive the textbook Human Resource Management, 12th edition authored by Mathis/Jackson.

The “Last Minute” Preparation Program

This 2 1/2 day course, offered shortly before the HRCI exam testing window, begins with a comprehensive, difficult, 225-question, four-hour exam, taken under exam-day conditions. The next two days are spent studying the exam to understand the correct answers, related facts and the strategic positioning of the question. This program prepares test-takers to become ready for the tough questions and can serve as a "final assessment" in helping evaluate your SPHR or PHR exam readiness. Couple this program with the Start Smart course for a proven, comprehensive preparation program!

You will receive a “sample” exam, supplemental materials to help you review questions and improve “test taking” techniques, and a CD of electronic flashcards to heighten your learning.
