Admission Requirements

College of Business at the University of Louisville is AACSB accredited
  • Completed online application
  • $50 application fee
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Professional resume and a personal statement
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution
  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended, including the degree-granting institutions
  • GMAT (or GRE) scores required. Waiver requests can be submitted by candidates who meet one of the four conditions below:
    • Hold a quantitative-based master’s degree and/or a terminal degree from a regionally-accredited institution
    • Have 5+ years managerial experience with increasing levels of responsibility and an undergraduate degree that includes 30% or more quantitative courses
    • Military officer with 5+ years of service
    • Case-by-case waiver for exceptional candidates based on approval from Associate Dean of Graduate Programs
    If you meet any of these criteria, please submit a waiver request along with your application for admission. Complete application packets and waiver requests will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Candidates will be notified with a decision within 3-5 business days.
  • Interviews are extended to candidates as part of the admissions process by invitation only*

    *Interviews will be conducted in-person (if local) or via SKYPE. During the interview, you’ll meet with the Admissions Committee to discuss the program, cohort and team structure and value. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the College including our Career Center and the city of Louisville!

International Applicants – Additional Requirements

  • WES formal transcript evaluation – if you studied outside of the United States, you are required to submit your academic records for a formal evaluation
  • TOEFL scores – score of 79 and higher on the internet-based test required; scores must be 2 years old or less at the time of application
