Passing scores for the PRAXIS CASE exams are required for admission to undergraduate teacher education programs. Test scores should be submitted to both the University of Louisville and the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board. Test scores are valid for five years.
PRAXIS II – A passing score is required for admission to the Alternative Certification Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Middle and Secondary Education programs.
For Traditional Route MAT programs, the appropriate PRAXIS II content exam must be passed prior to application for teacher certification. Many MAT programs require that applicants register for the exam as part of the admission process.
