Legislating Gender

2024 Minx Auerbach Lecture in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies welcomes Dr. Paisley Currah this year. Dr. Paisley Currah is a professor of Women’s and Gender Studies and Political Science at CUNY.    From 2014–2019, he co-edited the leading journal in transgender studies, TSP: Transgender Studies Quarterly.  He is the author of the award-winning book, “Sex Is as Sex Does: Governing Transgender Identity.”
