Our Accreditations

American Bar Association

The University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law's Juris Doctor program is approved by the Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar of the American Bar Association. The school's accreditation status was approved without reporting requirements in 2011. The next accreditation review will take place in 2017.

Association of American Law Schools

The University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law has been a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) since 1933. The school was approved without reporting requirements in 2011. The next accreditation review will take place in 2017.

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges

The University of Louisville is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, bachelor, master’s, doctoral, and first professional degrees (D.M.D., J.D., M.D.).
