Defining Feature #5
Incorporates ongoing, comprehensive feedback from students, faculty or others involved with the experience (which may include mid-term or final student evaluation, periodic review by department faculty, feedback from internship/practicum sites, or other assessment measures).
The notion of ongoing feedback draws on the notion that learning-centered teaching promotes: the belief that students should own their learning and the teacher serves in the capacity of the facilitator of student learning. Knowledge is constructed by learner, who is actively engaged in making meaning.
