How to access
Enter your UofL email address using the format, userId@louisville.edu and follow the prompts. You will be asked in your initial login if you would like to connect to your LinkedIn profile (this is optional) and then answer some questions about your learning topics of interest.

All current UofL students, staff and faculty have access with their UofL login credentials at no additional cost.
Go to LinkedIn Learning and enter your UofL email address using the format: userID@louisville.edu and follow the prompts.
Users can access this fantastic learning resource on the web via LinkedIn Learning Login or through the LinkedIn Learning app for iOS and Android for phones and tablets. Read “How to Access” above for instructions.
No, connecting it to your LinkedIn profile is optional. Users will be asked in your initial login if you would like to connect to your LinkedIn profile and you can decide whether connecting the two accounts. However, there are at least two benefits to connecting your LinkedIn profile:
- It will provide a more personalized learning experience, including specialized course recommendations based on your job title, skills, and industry.
- You will be able to easily display the digital credentials earned through LinkedIn Learning on your LinkedIn profile, enhancing its attractiveness in the job market.
- If you change your mind at any time, you can choose to connect or disconnect them later by clicking on "Me" at the top of the page and then selecting "Settings".
The LinkedIn Learning Support team is available to provide assistance with login or technical issues. However, if you require guidance in locating appropriate resources or have inquiries, you can email the DTC and we would be happy to help you or direct you accordingly.
