Our Comprehensive Curriculum Focuses on the Following Digital Skills:
Virtual Collaboration Tools (Microsoft Teams)
Microsoft Teams is the ultimate messaging app for your organization—a workspace for real-time collaboration and communication, meetings, file and app sharing, and even the occasional emoji! All in one place, all in the open, all accessible to everyone.
Conversational Artificial Intelligence (Chat GPT)
According to Chat GPT, “AI offers numerous benefits, including automation of repetitive tasks, improved efficiency, enhanced decision-making through data analysis, personalized user experiences, and the potential for innovation across diverse industries, ultimately leading to increased productivity and technological advancements.”
Forms Data Collection (Microsoft Forms)
Microsoft Forms is a web-based survey and form-building tool developed by Microsoft. It enables users to create customized surveys, quizzes, and polls with a user-friendly interface. Users can easily share their forms with others and collect responses in real time. The data collected can be analyzed through built-in analytics tools, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
Data Analytics (Microsoft Power BI)
Data analytics is the collection, transformation, and organization of data to draw conclusions, make predictions, and drive informed decision-making. Power BI is a versatile tool for preparing, modeling, visualizing, analyzing, and managing data. In Digital Literacy Train the Trainer, you will learn what data analytics is and its importance, how to import, clean, and shape data, and how to create visuals and dashboards that demonstrate the organization's needs.
By providing a solid foundation in these areas, the community trainers will enhance their expertise and develop the skills to transfer this knowledge effectively to other community learners. Join us on this transformative journey and be a driving force in expanding our community's digital capabilities.
How Will You Be Trained?
The Learning Management system portal contains various modes of information such as text, documents, and videos designed to guide you through your training journey. All content completed can be found on the Digital Transformation Center’s website. Each digital topic will have content in the form of an instructional video, homework exercises, hands-on exercises that will be explored in labs, supporting documentation, and an online pathway to complete.
