Document Drop

Directions for the Document Drop Program

University Career Center staff members are available to provide feedback on resumes and cover letters through the Document Drop Program. Please follow these steps before submitting your documents for review.

1

Students must be enrolled in a major served by the University Career Center.

Business, Engineering, and Law students should contact their career center.

2

Review the resume and cover letter web pages before submitting documents for review.

This will save you time in the review process.

3

Submit only Microsoft Word documents. Do NOT submit PDFs.

All submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) because feedback is provided using the 'track changes' feature. PDFs or other file types will not be accepted.

4

Submit a good draft copy.

Critiques are based upon the information on this website. We do not write resumes or cover letters for students.

5

We strive to return the critique within two business days, Monday through Friday.

Peak seasons (especially before career fairs) may take a little longer. Please keep this in mind if submitting for a class assignment deadline.
